I love helping kids “find their words!” In fact, my store name came from a thank you note I received from a family I worked with years ago.

In the note, the child’s mom thanked me for “helping my son find his words!” That stuck with me!

I love those moments when a child signs or says a powerful word like, “mama” for the first time. In our job, there’s not much better than seeing a little face light up when it finally clicks.  It’s an awesome moment when they get the power of communication, or they get a sound that they have worked so hard to master.

As an SLP, I’ve always made materials for myself. They were not always the prettiest, but they got the job done. It was time consuming figuring out tweaks to make them work, just the way.

I decided I wanted to share those things I made for myself, well after I “prettied” them up, and make them available for others to use.

My sincerest hope is that these tools and tips help you make the most of your speech and language therapy sessions.
